UwUChat

Chat in Fuwwy Speak! UwUChat uwuifies your chat, both the messages you send and the ones you read. It's client-side, so you don't need the server to have it.

Features

  • Sending: What you type is translated when you press Enter.
    hello everyone, how are you today? > hewwo evewyonye, how awe chu today uwu?
  • Reading: Other players' chat is translated on your screen. This includes /say, /me, /msg and team chat.
  • Fuwwy Speak vocabulary: L and R become W, "n" before a vowel becomes "ny", and words like "the > teh", "you > chu" and "your > ur". Long sentences ending in ! or ? get an owo! or uwu?.
  • Doesn't break things: Links, @mentions, #tags, :emoji: and coordinates are left alone, and player names stay as they are. Running a message through it twice gives the same result, so echoed messages don't get double uwu'd.
  • Easy toggle: Turn it on or off any time.

Your choices are saved between sessions.

Config

config/uwuchat.json (restart the game after editing):

  • translateOutgoing / translateIncoming: The same switches as the commands.
  • translateServerMessages: Also translate plain text messages from servers and plugins (off by default, because it can garble player names that contain L or R).
  • owoEndings: Add owo! / uwu? to long sentences.

Notes

  • Client-side only. Install it on your own game, not on servers.
  • Some servers have rules about chat-altering mods, so check the rules before using it on one.
  • Works great with the Fuwwy Speak language pack for the menus, but the pack is optional.
  • This is also my first actual working mod that I made. I decided to upload it here for fellow furs :3
