☁️ Game Sync
Never lose a world. Play from anywhere.
Game Sync is a client-side mod that backs up your singleplayer worlds to cloud storage automatically. Whether you're switching machines or just want a safety net against corrupted saves, your worlds stay in sync without any manual effort. Your data goes directly to your own cloud account using OAuth — no third-party servers, no subscriptions, and nothing to host.
Features
- Cloud sync — worlds are pushed to and pulled from your own cloud storage
- Autosave sync — optionally trigger a cloud sync after every autosave cycle
- Threaded transfers — files are uploaded in parallel for faster sync on large worlds
- Resilient uploads — per-file retry logic keeps syncs from failing on unstable connections
- In-game config screen — configure everything through Mod Menu without touching a config file (Fabric only)
- Client-side only — no server-side installation needed
Requirements
| Fabric | NeoForge | |
|---|---|---|
| Minecraft | 26.1.2 |
26.1.2 |
| Loader | 0.19.3 |
26.1.2.76 |
| YACL | required | required |
| Fabric API | required | — |
| Mod Menu | optional | — |
Setup
After installing, you'll need to configure your cloud provider credentials in the config file before loading a world. Full setup instructions are available on the GitHub repository.
Currently only Google Drive is supported. Additional providers are planned for future releases.
Issues
Found a bug or have a feature request? Please open an issue on the GitHub issue tracker. Include your Minecraft version, mod loader, and a copy of your latest.log from .minecraft/logs/ so it can be looked into as quickly as possible.
