[!IMPORTANT] PRIMARY VERSION: FORGE 1.20.1

GeneratorCraft is primarily developed and supported for Minecraft Forge 1.20.1.

Versions for other Minecraft loaders or versions are considered experimental test ports and may contain bugs, missing features, or compatibility issues that are not present in the Forge 1.20.1 version.

For the best and most stable experience, it is strongly recommended to play GeneratorCraft on Forge 1.20.1.

[!WARNING] IMPORTANT: INCOMPATIBLE WITH OPTIFINE

GeneratorCraft does NOT work with OptiFine. Running both mods together will very likely prevent Minecraft from launching.

Unfortunately, this incompatibility cannot currently be fixed, so please remove OptiFine before using GeneratorCraft.

What if Minecraft was an RNG based game?

Inspired by RNG games, Roblox simulators, and Hypixel SkyBlock, GeneratorCraft adds a progression and economy system built around chance, upgrades, automation, and increasingly ridiculous amounts of money.

Earn currencies, improve your stats, open lootboxes, build generators, participate in events, and work your way through the GeneratorCraft progression system.

Just don't expect everything to go your way.

What does this mod do?

GeneratorCraft turns many parts of Minecraft into a progression system.

Instead of simply collecting resources and crafting better gear, you can build up your own economy, improve your chances of getting better rewards, automate resource generation, and invest your earnings into increasingly powerful upgrades.

The mod is designed around the idea of always having something else to work toward.

Currencies

GeneratorCraft adds several currencies and progression values:

  • Coins
  • Gems
  • Drop Chance
  • Box Chance
  • Multipliers

Coins are the primary currency and can be earned through a variety of GeneratorCraft systems.

Gems are used for more valuable purchases and upgrades.

Drop Chance and Box Chance improve your chances of receiving valuable rewards and lootboxes.

Multipliers increase the amount of rewards you receive.

Shop

The GeneratorCraft Shop gives you somewhere to spend your increasingly questionable amount of money.

Purchase upgrades for your Drop Chance, Box Chance, and Multipliers, along with various special items.

The shop also contains a Slot Machine for when simply spending your money responsibly isn't enough.

Lootboxes

Mobs can drop lootboxes containing a variety of rewards.

Lootboxes range from ordinary rewards to considerably rarer items, giving you another reason to keep hunting, grinding, and opening boxes.

Some of the most important rewards are Generator Cores.

Generators

Generator Cores allow you to place generators in your world.

Each generator requires a specific material to operate. Give a generator a full stack of its required material and it will begin generating resources for you.

Generators provide another way to turn your resources into further progression and income.

Rebirths

Reached a point where your progression is getting too easy?

Rebirths let you reset your progression in exchange for permanent bonuses.

Each rebirth increases your potential and gives you another reason to keep pushing your GeneratorCraft level.

Events

GeneratorCraft includes a variety of temporary events that can change the way your world works.

Events can increase rewards, introduce new mechanics, change your available opportunities, or create completely new challenges.

Some events are relatively straightforward.

Others are considerably less reasonable.

Eventpocalypse

Sometimes one event isn't enough.

Eventpocalypse combines multiple GeneratorCraft events into one chaotic event, bringing several systems together at the same time.

Good luck.

GeneratorCraft includes various settings that allow you to customize parts of the mod.

Use:

/gc_config

to view and change available GeneratorCraft settings.

Rigged RNG, questionable lootboxes, and frustrating generators.
