About

Description

Clouded Progression foils up the natural progression of minecraft, as well as attempts to counter some scammishly easy methods that could be used to bypass the unnatural barriers that are implemented, specifically trading.

The Mod Removes the ability for the player to collect wood with their fist and the ability to collect iron with stone.

  • Instead the player will now be required to craft Flint tools in order to collect Wood
  • The Player, instead of collecting Iron with stone tools, newly added copper tools will instead be used to collect iron
  • Various new ways have been added in gamerules to deny the player access to villager, ranging from requiring "Hero of the Village" or just Needing to have Unlocked Iron (they will only trust the Hero of the Village unless changed in the gamerules before gameplay.)

Good Luck!

the 2.0.0 update reforged the iron progression tier in minecraft, shifting the focus greatly away from whats usually expected the new tools and utilities.

* Beginning with the Cold Working Table crafted with 4 planks and 2 copper similar to that of a smithing table, it unlocks access to the new semi rhythm game which gates iron ingots behind it!

* However, before this the player also requires a tool known as the Cold working hammer, crafted with Stone and a Copper Ingot it is cheap, however a lot of these will be required, their slot in this new GUI easily seen and exclaimed

* following this comes the fun part of experimenting and learning how to forge true iron through its various forms, click the buttons around once you have inserted the hammer and find out if you can obtain raw iron ingots or not!

Crafting Representations

Flint tools have low durability and damage, however will be now the next first step in the line of progression. Copper tools function on a similar level as stone tools, however have slightly higher damage and durability, as well hold the ability to mine iron.

To Change the requirements needed to trade with Villager. Seek the gamerule section under "VillagerTradingRequirements", if set to true the base option of requiring Hero of the Village will be used. If turned False, only the "Acquire Hardware" Advancement will be needed to trade.
