Description
Introduction:
Genetically Modified is a mod for Forge 1.16.5 about alien life, other planets and genetics. Discover new species of plants and animal through genetic modification and travel to another planet!
Lore:
A long time ago, beings from the outer space were looking for another source of life on the throughout the universe, but something went wrong and they crashed their ship deep down the surface. In the crash, some of their resources fell in the ocean and most of it died, except a very peculiar plant called Vinedelichyne, that managed to thrive in cold oceans from planet Earth.

Guide:
To start this new journey you'll need to find the new plant Vinedelichyne in cold ocean biomes and with a Reinforced Glass Tube, collect it's DNA Sample. Now craft batteries and the two new workstations: the DNA Analyser Device and the DNA Assembly Device. (It's a good idea to craft the guidebook too). Put the DNA Sample in the upper slot in the DNA Analyser Device and the battery in the lower slot and wait for the completion. Use the guidebook to understand what to do with the DNA Assembly Device.
When you have enough Stored Vinedelichyne Compost, put four of them in the crafting table and you'll get a Pure block. Pure blocks drop plants when broken with shears, use it to farm the new plants. Continue the process to discover new kinds of life forms.
When you discover Dartrimine you'll be able to craft the Outer World Detector. With it, go underground and right-click with it, it will search in a 20x20x20 area around you for crash sites of the ancient alien civilization. If it finds, it will show a beeping message.
After you find the Crash Site, you'll need to locate the Travel Block inside it. Once you find it, directly power it with redstone and right-click the Travel Block to travel to another planet, but beware, you'll need Netherite tools to harvest anything in this dimension, including the Travel Block. That means that once you travel, you will not be able to come back until you find all the resources required to craft the Travel Block. (It's a good idea to take the DNA Devices with you).
To reach all the new 5 bosses you'll need a Portal Block and the Stored Corrupt Composts of each animal from the new dimension. Be careful, the bosses are very difficult! Have fun!
