Godsforge
No reviews yet
An insanely overpowered parody mod.
Focuses on automation and resource processing through scientific and mechanical means, utilizing systems like electricity (RF/FE/etc), air pressure, or rotation.
Centers around fantasy elements such as spells, rituals, and magical energies, often involving personal empowerment and magical automation.
Neoforge is a fork of the Minecraft Forge available for versions 1.20.1+ of Minecraft. Many Forge mods are compatible with Neoforge and vice versa.

Godsforge — Progression Guide
A late-game NeoForge mod built around one block, the God Forge: a 25-slot (5×5) crafting altar that dwarfs a vanilla crafting table. Everything in this mod funnels through it. The whole climb — from your first Godsteel Ingot to a full set of Ascended armor — is built entirely from vanilla Minecraft materials. No other mods required. It's just a long, deliberate grind through content you've probably already beaten, repurposed as crafting ingredients for something better.
The God Forge
- Right-click to open. It's a 5×5 grid (25 input slots) plus one output slot on the right.
- The output slot updates live as you arrange items — no button to press, just like a vanilla crafting table, just five times the size.
- Take the result and the 25 ingredient slots are consumed automatically, one of each per craft.
- It emits a faint light and makes anvil sounds rather than a plain crafting-table clunk.
- Completing a valid high-tier craft (the output going from empty to filled) plays a short "challenge complete" chime — your cue that whatever you just placed actually matched a recipe.
Reading a recipe grid
Every recipe below is shown as a 5×5 (or 3×3) diagram, read top row to bottom row, left to right — the same convention as a vanilla crafting table, just bigger. Row 1 of the diagram is the top row of the Forge's grid; the leftmost character in each row is the leftmost slot. A . means an empty slot.
The Five Tiers
| Tier 1 | Tier 2 | Tier 3 | Tier 4 | Tier 5 | ||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Godsteel (alloy) | → | Divine Core (catalyst) | → | Titan's Heart (catalyst) | → | God Gear (armor + tools) | → | Ascended Armor (capstone) |
Tiers 1–3 build catalyst items. Tier 4 spends those catalysts on wearable/usable gear. Tier 5 takes finished Tier 4 armor and a second, harder-to-get catalyst and upgrades it further — your original God Armor pieces get consumed in the process, so budget for that.
Tier 1 — Godsteel
The base alloy. Refined from netherite, diamond, and ancient debris — the "you've already beaten the Nether" tier.
Godsteel Ingot (God Forge, 5×5)
Key: N = Netherite Ingot · D = Diamond Block · A = Ancient Debris

6× Netherite Ingot + 5× Diamond Block + 2× Ancient Debris → 4× Godsteel Ingot
Block of Godsteel (ordinary 3×3 crafting table)

9× Godsteel Ingot → 1× Block of Godsteel (reversible: 1 Block → 9 Ingot, shapeless)
Godsteel Blocks are the "bulk currency" spent on everything downstream — stock up.
Tier 2 — Divine Core
Divine Core (God Forge, 5×5)
Key: G = Block of Godsteel · T = Totem of Undying · S = Nether Star

G G G G G
16× Block of Godsteel + 2× Totem of Undying + 1× Nether Star → 1× Divine Core
That's a ring of 16 Godsteel Blocks (144 ingots) around a Nether Star (kill a Wither) flanked by two Totems of Undying (Evoker drops from Woodland Mansions / Pillager raids).
Tier 3 — Titan's Heart
Titan's Heart (God Forge, 5×5)
Key: C = Divine Core · W = Wither Skeleton Skull · D = Dragon's Breath · S = Shulker Shell

S D C D S
. S D S .
. . W . .
1× Divine Core + 2× Wither Skeleton Skull + 6× Shulker Shell + 4× Dragon's Breath → 1× Titan's Heart
This is the first recipe that reaches into the End: Shulker Shells come from End City Shulkers, Dragon's Breath from bottling the Ender Dragon's attack cloud. Combined with the Wither Skeleton Skulls (Nether Fortress), Titan's Heart is deliberately the recipe that ties Nether and End progression together before you're allowed to make actual gear.
Tier 4 — God Gear (armor and tools)
Nine recipes, all the same shape — a ring of 16 Godsteel Blocks around a Titan's Heart, with your existing Netherite equivalent in the bottom-center slot (it gets consumed and "upgraded"):
Key: G = Block of Godsteel · H = Titan's Heart · N = your Netherite item

G . H . G

16× Block of Godsteel + 1× Titan's Heart + 1 Netherite item → 1 God-tier item
| Netherite item consumed | Produces |
|---|---|
| Netherite Helmet | Helm of the Gods |
| Netherite Chestplate | Chestplate of the Gods |
| Netherite Leggings | Leggings of the Gods |
| Netherite Boots | Boots of the Gods |
| Netherite Sword | Godslayer Blade |
| Netherite Pickaxe | Pickaxe of the Gods |
| Netherite Axe | Axe of the Gods |
| Netherite Shovel | Shovel of the Gods |
| Netherite Hoe | Hoe of the Gods |
Stats — God tier vs. Netherite baseline
Armor (full set)
| Stat | God Tier | Netherite |
|---|---|---|
| Total defense | 42 | 20 |
| Toughness | 7.0 | 3.0 |
| Knockback resistance | 0.25 | 0.1 |
| Durability multiplier | 80 | 37 |
| Enchantment value | 22 | 15 |
Tools

|---|---|---|
| Durability | 4200 | 2031 |
| Mining speed | 13.0 | 9.0 |
| Attack damage bonus | +7.0 | +4.0 |
All God gear is fire/lava-proof, glints like an enchanted item, and repairs on Godsteel Ingot / Divine Core / Titan's Heart.
Tier 5 — Ascended Armor (the capstone)
First forge the final catalyst, then upgrade each armor piece individually. Ascension is armor-only — there's no Ascended tool tier.
Heart of the Void (God Forge, 5×5)
The single hardest recipe in the mod.
Key: N = Nether Star · E = Elytra · S = Shulker Shell · D = Dragon's Breath

1× Nether Star + 1× Elytra + 7× Shulker Shell + 4× Dragon's Breath → 1× Heart of the Void
Ascending an armor piece (God Forge, 5×5 — same shape for all four pieces)
Key: G = Block of Godsteel · V = Heart of the Void · B = your God armor piece

16× Block of Godsteel + 1× Heart of the Void + 1 God armor piece → 1 Ascended armor piece
| Consumes | Produces |

| Helm of the Gods | Ascended Crown |
| Chestplate of the Gods | Ascended Aegis |
| Leggings of the Gods | Ascended Greaves |

Stats — Ascended tier vs. Netherite baseline

| Knockback resistance | 0.4 | 0.1 |
| Durability multiplier | 150 | 37 |
| Enchantment value | 30 | 15 |
Repairs on Godsteel Ingot / Divine Core / Titan's Heart / Heart of the Void.
Full-set bonus
Wear all four Ascended pieces at once and you passively get, refreshed every second so it never lapses:
- 🔥 Fire Resistance — lava and fire immunity
- 💧 Water Breathing
- 🪶 Slow Falling — no more fall damage
- ❤️ Regeneration I
Wearing only some Ascended pieces, or any base God armor, does not grant this — it's meant to be a reason to finish the full set rather than stop at "good enough."
Shopping List (raw materials across the whole tree)
The Nether
- Ancient Debris
- Netherite Ingots (lots — for Godsteel and as the base item for every Tier 4 recipe)
- Wither Skeleton Skulls
Overworld
- Diamonds
- A Wither fight (Nether Stars)
- Woodland Mansion / Pillager raids (Totems of Undying)
The End
- Repeated End City raids for Shulker Shells (13 total across the whole tree) and an Elytra
- Multiple Ender Dragon fights for Dragon's Breath (8 bottles total)
The End Shulker Shell and Dragon's Breath costs are the real gate — expect to visit several End Cities and refight the dragon (she respawns on an End Crystal ritual) before you're geared up.
