Gold Cauldrons for Infinite Water: One supposed use of the cauldron in minecraft is for water storage in the nether. However, even a chest can carry more water buckets or bottles than a standard cauldron! This mod adds gold cauldrons for infinite water supplies in the nether. Gold cauldrons are crafted like regular cauldrons, but with gold ingots. The water level of a gold cauldron will never decrease. Just a simple solution for your nether based breweries. 

Gold Cauldrons for Lava Storage and Obsidian Farming: Another common issue in vanilla minecraft is the farming of obsidian. Breaking obsidian takes far too long, and as a result it takes forever to make. Gold cauldrons provide a solution to this as well. These shiny cauldrons are now capable of storing lava! Lava is not infinite when placed in a gold cauldron however, and the cauldron will empty if right clicked with an empty bucket. When water and lava are mixed in a gold cauldron, the cauldron becomes filled with obsidian, and is unusable. Such a cauldron can be broken as quickly as a standard cauldron, but drops an obsidian block in addition to itself.

Automatic Cauldrons: This mod adds an additional useful cauldron to the game: the Automatic Cauldron. Automatic Cauldrons become filled automatically from flowing water above them. When bottles or buckets are dropped into them, they are filled, and the water level of the cauldron decreases. This allows for a machine to fully automate the filling of water bottles- another classic struggle in minecraft breweries. For an example of such a device, visit the images tab.
