Gold Sun Regen

Gold Sun Regen gives vanilla golden armor and tools a reason to wear — they slowly repair themselves while exposed to direct sunlight. Stand outside on a clear day and your damaged gold gear will regain durability over time. The effect is strongest at midday, weaker at dawn and dusk, and stops in rain, shade, or underground.

What repairs

All vanilla golden gear is supported:

• Helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots
• Sword, pickaxe, axe, shovel, hoe Works on worn armor, held tools, and dropped items lying in the sun.

How it works

• Repair only happens during the day with a clear view of the sky
• Rain and storms block repair
• Standing in water still works if your head is in open sunlight
• Repair is slower by default and scales with the sun's position in the sky
• Dropped golden items can repair on the ground, with an optional orbiting glow and soft resonance hum

Visual & audio effects

Optional client effects while repairing:

• Sunlight particles that drift inward toward repairing gear
• A gentle resonating hum on players and dropped items
• Particle count scales with time of day (more at midday) All effects can be turned off in config.

• Repair speed and check interval
• Midday repair amount
• Sun-position scaling
• Dropped item repair
• Particles and resonance
• Overworld-only mode
• Minimum sunlight brightness
