Description

This mod add structures with hostile golem trials that drop special equipments

Discord: https://discord.gg/BCHNhsDMXz

Dependency: L2library, Modular Golems

Primary Contents

Hostile golems shows a flag representing their faction. They will actively attack players and player companions, but are neutral to other mobs. They are immune to damage from mobs in their factions, but can be damaged by mobs in other hostile factions.

Abandoned Factory: Find temples with copper status in plains, and enter the dungeon from the temple. Explore the maze and fight golem trials. Golems from this trial are primarily made with copper, iron, and gold, with some random armors. Trial reward includes Ancient Forge, a metal golem weapon that can bypass armor.

Piglin Factory: Find the factory in the crimson forest, near lava level. Golems here are made with iron, gold, and netherite, with full enchanted netherite equipments. It's a good place to farm netherite ingots and netherite equipments if you can defeat them. Trial reward includes Flame Sword, a metal golem weapon that can deal additional fire magic damage that bypass armor when attacking, and when golems use it to kill other golems, they drop a lot more materials.

Sculk Factory: Find the factory in the deep dark. Golems here are made with iron and sculk, with full enchanted diamond equipments. Trial reward includes Sculk Scythe, a metal golem weapon that can produce sonic burst when attacking, dealing damge that can bypass armor, enchantments, and potion effects.

Raid Reinforcements: Raids will spawn golems starting from wave 5. They are purely made with iron, with chain armor / samurai armor. You can disable this in config.

All trials are completely data-driven. You can modify them or add new trials via datapack.

Mod Integrations

Cataclysm: You can use Trial Medal instead of eyes to revive bosses via the boss spawner. In this case, bosses will spawn with 4 golems of their faction:

  • Ender Guardian: 2 metal golems and 2 humanoid golems riding dog golems. All of them can summon void runes and void vortex.
  • Scylla: 2 storm metal golems and 2 storm humanoid golems riding dog golems. Be aware of the lighting spear and waves.
  • Netherite Monstrosity: 4 netherite metal golems with full monstrosity armor. Their fall attack is quite scary.
  • Harbinger: 2 witherite metal golems with full harbinger armor, and 2 witherite humanoid golems riding dogs. All of them weld assult weapon, laser gatling, or meat shredder.
  • Ignis: Use Trial Medal to craft the special burning ashes for altar of fire to summon ignis with 4 ignitium golems.

Twilight Forest:

  • In the dungeons of the Final Castle, each room has a golem spawner. Break into the room with maze breaker, and fight the golems. They are made with steeleaf / ironwood / knightmetal / fiery ingot, with all possible weapons and armors from Twilight Forest, and a lot of related upgrades. Some of them are really tough to kill and Sculk Scythe is recommended for bypassing Carminite upgrade.
  • The trials gives you a lot of non-renewable tools, equipments, and materials. You can also get a lot of ingots from golems. Defeat trials several times to get enough materials to craft Giant Ironwood Sword, Giant Knightmetal Sword, and Giant Fiery Sword. They are too heavy to be used by players, and only metal golem can hold them.
