🏆 Great Deeds (Hauts Faits): Advancements That Matter

Every advancement now gives you a permanent bonus. Do the quests, grow stronger, earn your rank.

In vanilla, advancements are a pop-up you forget two seconds later. Great Deeds turns them into real quests and gives your survival world a long-term goal. Mine your first diamond and you get luckier. Cure a zombie villager and you heal when you're in danger. Slay the Ender Dragon and you gain 2 hearts. Visit every Nether biome and you can no longer burn there.

81 unique bonuses, 4 renown ranks, and a menu to track and manage them all.

✨ Features

  • 🎯 81 bonuses tied to vanilla advancements: extra hearts, armor, damage, speed, mining speed, reach, luck, immunities, situational effects and unique abilities
  • 📜 Advancements become quests: the menu shows what each bonus does and how to unlock it

How some bonuses work

  • Second Chance: when you take a fatal hit, you survive with 3 hearts plus Regeneration and Absorption. Recharges after 20 minutes (the cooldown resets when the server restarts)
  • Immunities (Beekeeper, Pure Blood, Alchemist): the effect is removed within a second of being applied
  • Situational effects (Doctor, Deep Sight, Child of the Storm, Pack Leader…): only active while their condition is met, with no particles
  • Sky Master: hold sneak while falling to glide down slowly. It does not trigger while flying with elytra

📦 Installation

  • Minecraft 26.3, Fabric Loader 0.19+ and Fabric API
  • Install the mod on both the server and the clients (the menu and the translations are on the client side)
  • Works in singleplayer and multiplayer

❓ FAQ

I already have lots of advancements. Do I get the bonuses? Yes. Bonuses are read from your advancements, so you get them as soon as you join.

What happens if an admin revokes an advancement? The bonus is removed too, and it comes back if the advancement is granted again.

Isn't it too strong? Late-game players can gain a lot of hearts, but these come from the hardest challenges. Every player can also turn off any bonus they find too strong.

What if I remove the mod? Bonuses are saved as attribute modifiers on players, so some stats (hearts, armor…) can stay on players who had them. Remove the mod at the start of a world, or revoke the advancements first, if that matters to you.
