A crafting menu overhaul because Minecraft's crafting system is needlessly complicated.

About

Description

G.A.D: Grids Are Dumb

GAD is a crafting screen replacement that changes the menu from the grid based puzzle mechanic to a crafting list menu similar to other survival games.

- Are you tired of sprawling around wikis just to find that one modded item's crafting recipe?
- Are you someone like those streamers trying to craft a pickaxe using porkchops?
- Do you find Minecraft's crafting system overly complicated?

Then GAD is probably the mod for you!

This mod is made for pack devs in mind, everything is configurable and you can even reenable the crafting grid if you so desire.

If a recipe is too large, it will require a crafting table in proximity of the player. (Configurable)

Features:
- Recipe menu openable via keybind.
- Support for recipes with any number of ingredient entries and per-entry counts.
- Scrollable recipe browser tied to the player's inventory.
- Inclusion of vanilla crafting-table recipes.
- Support for data driven workstations.
- Datapack recipe support through the custom **gad:gad_crafting** recipe type.
- Inventory integration that can hide the normal 2x2 player crafting grid.
- Enable or Disable automatically added recipes.

Supported crafting types:
- Crafting Grid Recipes
- Leather Dye
- Shulker Box Dye
- Decorated Pot
- Firework Star
- Firework Star Fade
- Firework Rocket
- Suspicious Stew
- Tipped Arrow
- Shield Decoration
- Banner Duplication
- Map Cloning
- Map Extending
- Book Cloning
- Item Repairs
