GroundZero's Queue System

⏳ GroundZero Queue

A lightweight queue and connection management mod created for the GroundZero Modpack.

GroundZero Queue is an infrastructure mod developed specifically for the GroundZero Minecraft server and official GroundZero Modpack.

Its purpose is to manage how players connect to GroundZero, especially during busy periods, server restarts and maintenance.

⚠️ Important

This mod does NOT change Minecraft gameplay.

It does not add:

- Items or blocks

- Mobs

- Recipes

- World generation

- Combat changes

- Survival mechanics

- Player progression

If you are playing the GroundZero Modpack, you can simply leave this mod installed.

There is no reason to remove or configure it as a player.

🔄 What Does It Do?

GroundZero Queue provides the client-side functionality required for GroundZero's custom server queue system.

It allows GroundZero to provide players with a proper queue interface instead of simply allowing large numbers of players to connect to the server at the same time.

The system can display information such as:

- 👥 Your queue position

- ⏱️ Estimated waiting information

- 🔄 Live queue updates

- ⭐ Priority Queue status

- 🛠️ Maintenance information

- 📡 Server connection status

- 🚪 When you are ready to join

It is also used to help control how quickly players enter the server after restarts or during high player activity.

This helps GroundZero reduce sudden login spikes and provides a much cleaner experience when the server is busy.

⭐ Priority Queue

The system also supports GroundZero's Priority Queue, allowing eligible players to receive increased priority when waiting to enter the server.

Priority and queue rules are controlled by the GroundZero server.

🧟 Made for GroundZero

This mod is currently made specifically for GroundZero and is included as part of the official GroundZero Modpack.

It is not intended to add standalone gameplay content and installing it in another modpack currently provides no useful gameplay functionality by itself.

The queue logic and configuration are handled by GroundZero's server-side systems.

📦 For Modpack Players

If you found this mod because it is installed in the GroundZero Modpack:

You don't need to do anything.

Keep the mod installed and launch the modpack normally. It will automatically be used when GroundZero needs its queue functionality.
