Harder Stones

This is a unique mod for Minecraft enjoyers, giving you new Geological and Realistic features. As the mod name suggests, the mod makes your stones literality harder. It makes them rock hard. :§

The main feature of the mod is to make Minecraft stones more realistic, by making them harder to mine. This is done by adding multiple mining lvls to different stones. Let’s say that you mine a lvl3 stone, the stone would become a lvl2 stone, then a lvl1, then a lvl0 and finally the block would be destroyed. Sound kind of hard, well the name already suggests that, so we would highly recommend using this mod as a base mod for a modpack, where later in game you would get machines or drills.

New mining lvls system

New system that offers a new approach to mining. Also, the deeper you get the harder stones become. With many different layers of stones and many stone types.

The mined blocks will now drop stone chunks, or other similar types of chunks.

Now with those chunks you could craft cobblestone, or use a chisel to polish those chunks.

Realistic TNT Explosion

With this mod you also get a more realistic pressure explosion system for the stone blocks. This means that if an explosion gets more pressure, it will cause more damage. This means that an explosion on the surface would cause much less damage than an explosion underground.

Explosion special features

In addition to the realistic pressure system, some stone blocks would act differently when an explosion occur.

The shock absorption; When exploded the block would absorb the shockwave, and give nearby players explosion resistance.

The shockwave; When exploded some blocks can reflect the shock and send it on a further distance.

The tremor; Some blocks have a chance to cause a small tectonic explosion after the main explosion happens, so be cautious.

New ores

Such as peat, arsenic copper bronze ore, and much more!

Peat will dry up when explosed to air; Used as a fuel source.

 The mod also adds more realisic iron and coal ore spawning.

Technical info

If you want to use other pickaxes from other mods, make sure that those pickaxes have the tag forge/tags/tools/pickaxes or minecraft/tags/tools/pickaxes. Some pickaxes from these mods we have already added tags to; Immersive Engineering, Thinker’s Construct, and more…

Feel free to use this mod in your own modpack :D

We highly suggest to use this mod in a modpack, like DIC, otherwise the mod may feel needlessly hard.
