Description

Hardships is a mod that was made with the intent of making the pre iron era much more annoying to get past

The advancements and their descriptions tell you how to progress through the mod, but if thats not enough you can look at the changes below

All changes:

  • Wooden Tools dissapear if crafted
  • Stone Tools dissapear if crafted
  • Woodchips are used as fuel (right click a log with the Flint Axe)
  • Pebbles are used to obtain cobblestone (right click stone with the Flint Pickaxe)
  • You now smelt crudely smelted iron instead of iron ingots and then craft the crude iron into iron ingots

Workarounds:

    • Use a furnace to smelt the iron
    • Use planks instead of woodchips to smelt
    • Find naturally spawning pickaxes
    These workarounds make the slight grind much quicker however the mod was not designed to be quick.
