Description

Summary

Since the original 1.12 fork of Hexxit Gear hasn't been updated in a few years, and the author has no time to maintain an old mod, I decided to make a couple tweaks and fix some issues with this mod. This mod rebalances the armor set bonuses, and the armor set abilities. Below is a list of the changes.

Changes

Scale Armor - Grants fire resistance. Its ability has been changed to grant resistance 3 and regeneration 3 for a configurable amount of time instead of complete invulnerability, as certain mods broke this effect. You also curse nearby mobs with weakness 5. The effect was also visually updated to match the tribal set ability.

Tribal Armor - Grants water breathing. Set ability grants speed 3, strength 3, and haste 3 for a configurable amount of time. You also curse nearby mobs with slowness 5.

Thief Armor - Grants luck. Set ability grants strength 5, speed 3, and invisibility until you attack for a configurable amount of time.

Sage Armor - Grants jump boost 5. It's ability is unchanged.

All armor sets - Grants night vision. All negative effects are gone as they are mostly redundant when playing with mods like bountiful baubles.

Closing

All of these changes are basically just common sense balance changes so that the mod plays better in modpacks (like Boundary). If you have any issues or concerns let me know in the comments. I'm fairly new at this so please bear with me if I can't resolve every issue. I'm looking at changing some of these set bonuses (like tribal) by tapping into a way to configure them through a config, but this will take time.
