Higher Harvest

A hemp farming, breeding and crafting mod for Fabric 1.21.11. Made by Freak4U.

Content note: This mod includes fictional, game-style depictions of cannabis, including smoking items and custom status effects. It is intended for mature players and does not reference real brands or encourage real-world use. Several effects can be adjusted or disabled in the config.

🌱 Farming & Breeding
- Find wild hemp growing naturally in plains, forests, savannas, meadows, jungles and along rivers. It also generates in biomes from biome mods like Biomes O' Plenty and Terralith.
- Breaking grass and searching village chests can also turn up seeds.
- 20 strains, each with its own plant model, colors and status effects.
- Gene Splicer: cross two strains to breed new ones, clone rare seeds, or try a random mutation.
- LED Grow Lamp: speeds up nearby crops (vanilla crops too) and lights indoor grow rooms.
- Two rare strains that can only be found growing in the wild, in specific biomes.

🔬 The Lab
- Lab Grow Pot: grow any strain without farmland. It regrows after every harvest.
- Rosin Press: press dried hemp into Hemp Wax, with a working 3D press.
- Industrial Grinder: process whole batches at once.
- Strain Analyzer: a microscope that shows any strain's stats and breeding combinations.
- Lab building set: doors, trapdoors, tiles, epoxy floors, wall panels and counters.

🧵 Hemp Crafting
- Hemp clothing, wearable as light armor: Hippie Beanie, Hemp Tunic, Tie-Dye Shirt, Hemp Pants and Hemp Sandals. Wearing the full set gives a bonus.
- Hempcrete and **Hempcrete Bricks** building blocks.
- Hemp and Rasta Rugs.
- Hemp Cloth, used to craft leads, paintings, saddles, string and paper.
- Drying Rack and Hemp Bales.

⚗️ Processing & Items
- Dry, grind and process your harvest into Kief, Hash and Wax.
- Roll items on a **Rolling Tray**, and use placeable glass water pipes in 5 colors.
- Edibles, including brownies, gummies and a placeable cake, plus **Hemp Seed Oil**, which clears all effects.
- Ashtray with useful mechanics.
- Full 3D models and first- and third-person use animations.

🏆 Progression
- 34 advancements in a dedicated tab.
- Full recipe book support.
- A Strain Almanac book you can craft, which lists every breeding combination.

⚙️ Config
`config/freaks_hemp.json` is created on first launch. Server owners and modpack makers can:
- Toggle wild hemp generation, seed drops from grass, and village chest loot.
- Toggle secondhand effects and the strongest status effect tier.
- Turn the screen effects off, or adjust their strength.
- Adjust grow lamp speed and effect duration.

🤝 Compatibility
- Works with biome mods: Biomes O' Plenty, Terralith, TerraBlender, Biolith.
- Uses shared convention tags (`c:seeds`, `c:crops`, `c:foods`), so other mods recognize its crops and foods.
- Recipes show in JEI, REI and EMI.
- Optional integration with Smokeables by Freak4U.
