Hotbar Shuffle

Tired of manually switching blocks just to make a wall look less boring? Hotbar Shuffle does it for you — and a bit more chaotically than you'd expect.

How it works

Press R — and every block you place becomes a tiny lottery. Instead of whatever you were holding, a random block from your hotbar gets placed. Held oak planks — cobblestone shows up instead. Held oak planks again — this time it's leaves. Perfect for:

• 🏔️ natural-looking terrain and textured walls
• 🏚️ ruins and abandoned buildings (nothing predictable here!)
• 🎨 fast prototyping when you don't feel like picking a palette
• 😵 random chaos for its own sake — that works too

What's included

• R key toggles it on/off (rebindable in Controls settings)
• On-screen badge so you always know when it's active
• Toggle sound — a higher-pitched click on, lower-pitched off
• Colored overlay message above the hotbar — green for "on", red for "off"
• Works in any game mode — Creative and Survival alike

Technical

Built from scratch for Minecraft 26.2 (official mappings, no legacy Yarn dependency). Client-side only — nothing changes on the server, it's entirely local to you.
