Description

HungerLens shows what food will do before you eat it, directly on the vanilla hunger bar.

Hunger Preview

The held food appears as a precise preview over the hunger bar, including half and full hunger points. A soft animated edge glow is limited to the points the food will actually restore, so the result stays clear without replacing the vanilla HUD.

Saturation Preview

The preview also accounts for saturation, showing the real value of a food before it is consumed and making overfilling easier to recognize.

Healing Estimate

HungerLens estimates how many hearts natural regeneration can recover from the selected food. The estimate follows the hunger, saturation, exhaustion, and healing rules of the exact Minecraft version being played.

Smart Bite

Smart Bite compares the edible items in the hotbar and highlights the best current choice. It considers restored hunger, saturation, healing potential, and waste so the recommendation changes with the player's current state.
