🐉 Ice and Fire: Dragonsteel
Modernize your dragon-slaying arsenal.
Ice and Fire: Dragonsteel updates the way Dragonsteel gear is crafted, bringing it in line with modern Minecraft smithing mechanics.
Instead of relying entirely on traditional crafting methods, Dragonsteel equipment can now be upgraded using the Smithing Table, similar to how Netherite upgrades work in vanilla Minecraft.
This allows dragon gear to feel more natural within modern modded progression systems.
⚒ Smithing Table Integration
Dragonsteel equipment can now be upgraded through the Smithing Table using new smithing recipes.
Netherite gear can be transformed into:
- 🔥 Fire Dragonsteel
- ❄ Ice Dragonsteel
- ⚡ Lightning Dragonsteel
This creates a smoother progression path from Netherite → Dragonsteel. This upgrade also supports the Spartan Ice and Fire Weapons, allowing them to follow the same progression path.
👻 Phantasmal Blade Upgrade
The Phantasmal Blade can now be upgraded using a custom smithing-style recipe.
Required materials:
- Dragon Bone Sword
- Phantom Membrane
- Phantasmal Ingot
This upgrade also supports the Ice and Fire Delight Phantom Knife, allowing it to follow the same progression path.
🧱 Dragonsteel Ingot
A new Dragonsteel Ingot is introduced as a unified crafting base.
This ingot is crafted differently depending on your installed mods:
- Overgeared and Quark Installed
Quark’s Dragon Scale
Overgeared's Steel Ingot
Netherite - Only Overgeared Installed
Ice and Fire Dragon Scales
Overgeared's Steel Ingot
Netherite - Only Quark Installed
Quark’s Dragon Scale
IronNetherite - Neiter Overgeared or Quark Installed
Ice and Fire Dragon Scales
Iron
Netherite
The ingot can then be used inside the Dragon Forge to create the elemental Dragonsteel types.
📖 Draconic Codex Support
Dragonsteel integration also extends to the Draconic Codex, ensuring its crafting recipes properly recognize and support Dragonsteel progression.
