Idle Animations
Idle Animations makes standing still feel alive. After ten seconds without
movement, your player begins performing polished ambient poses while a smooth
cinematic camera moves around the scene.
Features
36 refined animations with conservative head, torso, arm, and leg motion
Context-aware poses selected from the item in your hand
Sword animations including samurai stance, guard, flourish, inspection, and meditation
Specialized poses for bows, crossbows, shields, pickaxes, tools, torches, maps, books, and food
Twelve smooth cinematic shot patterns, including orbit, overhead, leg sweep,
crane, rising arc, close sweep, descending, low-angle, shoulder, and reveal shots
Animations and cinematic shots run together
Per-frame model reset prevents bent or stuck body parts
Cinematic mode immediately stops when you move, turn, use an item, or open a screen
Restores your previous camera perspective automatically
Configurable idle delay, animation cooldown, cinematic toggle, and shot duration
Client-side only; no server installation required.
Installation
Install Fabric Loader for your Minecraft version.
Install Fabric API.
Download the Idle Animations JAR matching your exact Minecraft version.
Place both mods in your client's mods folder.
This mod is client-side only. Other players need the mod installed to see the
animations on their own clients.

Each Minecraft version uses a separate JAR because player rendering and camera
APIs differ between versions.
Modpack Permission
You may include the official, unmodified Modrinth release of Idle Animations in
modpacks. Re-uploading or distributing modified copies requires permission.
