About
Description
Every screen of the game in a theme, with small animations and its own menu music: Halloween, Hologram, Winter, Space and Retro Arcade. Client-side.

Chests open out of the chest
The panel rises from the block you used, and each theme has its own entrance: bats on Halloween, a projector on the Hologram, a present on Winter, a rocket in Space, a spinning coin on the Arcade.
When you close it, it crumbles, dissolves into light, melts into snow, spirals into a black hole or explodes in big pixels.
Menu music for every theme
A spooky harpsichord waltz for Halloween, a cozy Christmas tune in December (and a calm snowy piano piece the rest of the year), floating synths for Space, an 8-bit chiptune for Retro Arcade and soft electronica for Hologram.
It plays on the title screen and the menus, loops without a gap, follows the Music volume slider and fades out when you join a world, so the game's own music is untouched in game. Switch it off with Theme music on the theme screen.
Music generated with Google Gemini (Lyria), edited by Vitral.
Complete themes
Inventory, chests and every container, crafting table, furnace, smoker and blast furnace, enchanting table, anvil, title screen, pause, options, loading screen and the HUD.
The Halloween furnace burns with a purple-and-orange living fire.
Items keep their real colours
Only the interface is themed. Poison, wither and frozen hearts, armour icons, effect icons and boss bars stay exactly as the game draws them, because their colour is the information.
Items and blocks from other mods are never touched.
Pick a theme, or calm it down
Pick the theme in Options (Screen Theme button), in the mod list, or with /immersivescreens.
Reduce motion switch (also on when the game's Panorama Scroll Speed is 0): nothing slides, flickers or breaks apart; the colours stay.
Light: colours are painted once when textures load; nothing heavy runs per frame.

Halloween
Purple panels with a glowing orange frame, a web and a spider in the corner, a flickering pumpkin, bats crossing the menus and a purple-and-orange living fire in the furnace.
Hologram
A see-through blue projection with scanlines, a sweeping scan band, corner brackets, a projector beam and the odd signal glitch.
Winter / Christmas
Falling snow that settles on the panels, icicles, frost, Christmas lights, a snowman and holly. Chests open as a present.
Space
Twinkling stars, a breathing nebula, shooting stars, a ringed planet with its moon. Chests launch a rocket.
Retro Arcade
8-bit everything: pixel frames, marching critters, "blip" and points on hover, PRESS START and INSERT COIN.

For modpack makers
✔ Feel free to include Immersive Screens in any modpack, no need to ask.
✔ Client-side only: nothing to install on the server. Works on any server, in single player and on Realms.
✔ Your pack has its own menu music? Turn ours off by default with themeMusic=false in config/immersivescreens.properties.
For modpack makers: toggles and custom colours
Already have a mod or resource pack that styles the hotbar, the hearts or the tooltips? Pick what Immersive Screens themes in Options > Screen Theme > What to theme...: Inventory, Chests & storage, Workstations, Other mods' screens, Menus & buttons, Loading screens, Hotbar, Hearts/hunger/XP and Tooltips. A switch that is off leaves that piece exactly as the game or the other mod draws it: no repaint, no animation, no decoration.

Want your pack's palette? Custom colours... takes hex values for each theme's panel, frame, accent and text, and the whole theme follows, light and shade included.

Ship your defaults in config/immersivescreens.properties (every key is commented):
themeHotbar=falsethemeHudIcons=falsethemeTooltips=falsecolors.halloween.panel=#2A1240colors.halloween.frame=#FF8A1F
