About

Description

InstancedLoot ensures that every player gets their own unique chest loot, instead of competing for the same items.

Unlike other mods, it works entirely server-side  (no client installation required) making it fully compatible with vanilla clients and lightweight to run. When a player opens a loot chest, the mod rolls a personal loot table just for them, stores it safely, and shows only their version of the inventory. This means no more empty dungeons when someone loots before you, fairer exploration on multiplayer servers, and a gameplay experience that feels closer to singleplayer even in shared worlds.

Roadmap:

✅ Instanced loot entities, like minecarts
⏳ Visual indicator for opened & unopened chests
✅ Config to disable chest breaking
✅ Admin and debug commands

Credits to Lootr for the inspiration, but I needed something that was server-side and vanilla-compatible.
