InstantXP
The error that broke the Mending enchantment has been fixed (version 1.0.0 of the mod containing that bug has been removed; the issue was resolved in version 1.0.1 of the mod).
This small quality-of-life mod makes experience absorption nearly instant, while still preserving part of the XP orb animation. It significantly reduces the delay when absorbing experience orbs.
This table provides an estimate of the time required to absorb experience orbs in a controlled scenario (a test world available for download from game version 1.21.1).
