Iron Vests Compatibility Curios

Iron Vests Compatibility Curios is a compatibility add-on that seamlessly integrates the Iron Vests mod with Curios API, allowing all Iron Vests to be equipped in their own dedicated Vest Slot instead of the standard chest armor slot.

The mod improves compatibility between both mods while preserving the original functionality of Iron Vests. It also enhances the visual appearance of equipped vests with improved rendering, making them fit better over armor and reducing clipping issues.

Features

  • 🛡️ Adds full Curios API compatibility for Iron Vests.
  • 🎽 Adds a dedicated Vest Slot for all Iron Vests.
  • 🎨 Improves vest rendering for better appearance and compatibility with armor.
  • 📏 Adjusts vest models to reduce clipping and improve visibility.
  • Shift + Right-click to instantly equip a vest into the Vest Slot.
  • 💬 Adds an in-game tooltip explaining the quick equip feature.
  • ⚙️ Supports every vest added by the Iron Vests mod without changing their original behavior.

Supported Vests

  • Iron Vest
  • Golden Vest
  • Diamond Vest
  • Netherite Vest
  • Refined Obsidian Vest
  • Juggernaut Vest
  • Evolution Vest
  • Forcefield Vest

Requirements

  • Minecraft 1.20.1
  • Forge
  • Iron Vests 1.4.3
  • Curios API 5.14.1

Note: These requirements apply only to versions before v1.0.2. If you have Iron Vests Compatibility Curios v1.0.2 installed, you can ignore them.

How to Use

Equip any supported vest through the dedicated Vest Slot, or simply hold Shift and Right-click while holding a vest to equip it instantly.

Important

This mod is a compatibility add-on and does not add any new vests or items. It enhances the existing Iron Vests mod by integrating it with Curios API and adding quality-of-life improvements for a smoother gameplay experience.
