Description
Iron Age Furniture
Give your longhouse, tavern or campsite somewhere to sit and something to light it by. Iron Age Furniture adds practical, rustic furniture to Minecraft without filling your build with modern designs.
Phase 3 is complete: chairs, stools and benches are joined by lamps and sconces. The furniture available, supported woods and mod integrations vary by Minecraft version.
Chairs and stools
Classic chairs, shield back chairs, short stools and tall stools give you seating for everything from a small camp to a great hall.

Benches
Build longer seating runs with connecting benches. Choose plain, log, backed or padded styles; padded benches in all sixteen upholstery colours.

Phase 3 lighting
Add torch sconces or use glow, lava and redstone lamps to set the mood. Lava lamps can be thrown as well as placed.

These screenshots come from different Minecraft versions. Textures and available furniture may differ in your installation. You can see more in the project gallery.
Choosing a download
Pick the file for your exact Minecraft version and Forge or NeoForge loader from the Files tab. If you play on a server, install the matching mod on both the server and your client.
Iron Age Furniture works with vanilla woods on its own. Depending on the version, matching furniture for Biomes O’ Plenty, Natura, Forestry, Immersive Engineering or Oh The Biomes You’ll Go may be built into the main mod or provided separately:
For Minecraft 26.3, use the matching [Biomes O’ Plenty add-on (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/iafbopaddon) if you want BOP furniture.
For Minecraft 1.12.2, [Iron Age Furniture Oh The Biomes Add-On (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/iafbygaddon) adds BYG furniture.
Check the add-on's file for its own Minecraft version, loader and required mods. You do not need either add-on to use the main mod.
What’s next?
Phase 4 is planned to add beds and thrones, alongside improvements to existing chairs and lighting. Those features are not part of the Phase 3 downloads.
Historical resource packs
The older shield chair texture packs are still available as x16, x32, x64 and x128 archive downloads. They use the old Minecraft 1.10 era resource pack format and are not current version packs.
