Item Clear

Keeps your world tidy by clearing dropped items on a timer. Players get warnings first, so nobody loses something they were about to pick up.

Features

• Clears dropped items roughly every 10 minutes by default, and the interval can be changed
• Chat warnings 10 minutes, 1 minute and 10 seconds before the cleanup
• Optional on-screen title shortly before the cleanup
• Cleanup message that shows how many items were removed
• Live countdown boss bar, which each player can turn on for themselves
• Players can mute the chat messages for themselves
• Dimensions can be excluded, so items there are never cleared
• Built-in texts in English, Italian, Spanish, French, German and Portuguese
• Color presets
• Every message can be reworded
• The config reloads while the game is running, so changes apply without a restart

Commands

Everyone can use the first three.

• /itemclear mute: turns the chat messages off or on for you
• /itemclear timer: shows or hides the live countdown boss bar
• /itemclear time: shows the time left until the next cleanup
• /itemclear clear: clears all dropped items right away and restarts the countdown (operators only)

Configuration

Settings are in config/itemclear.toml, or in the in-game config screen from the mod list. Each option has a short description.

You can change the interval, the warning times, the on-screen title, the bar color and style, the color preset, the language and every text. Texts can use {count} for the number of removed items and {time} for the remaining time.

Compatibility

• Made for NeoForge
• Works in singleplayer and on servers
• The countdown boss bar sits at the top center of the screen, so overlays from other mods, such as Jade, can cover it

Notes

Items in excluded dimensions are left alone. Players who muted the messages will not see warnings or the cleanup message, but the boss bar is controlled separately.
