Japan Land: A Mod that Brings Japanese Culture to Minecraft

Explore new biomes, items, mobs and dimensions inspired by Japan!

This mod is currently in beta, so there might be some bugs or glitches. Please report them to me and I will try to fix them as soon as possible.

Features

Items

• Katana: A sword that deals massive damage and attacks fast. Currently, there are two variants: the iron katana and the kurogane katana, but more variants will be added in the future.
• Sakura Quartz: A pink gem that is found under sakura trees. It can be used to craft tools and armor that are stronger than iron but weaker than diamond.
• Jade: A green gem that is similar to diamond or netherite in terms of durability and strength. It can be used to craft tools and armor as well.
• Kitsunite: A pink gem that is not fully added yet. It will have some special properties in the future.
• Rice: A crop that can be found in the world. It can be crafted into rice grains, which can be cooked into rice balls or combined with sugar to make mochi. Mochi can also be crafted into blocks for decoration or storage.
• Kurogane: A rare metal-based ore that is high in carbon and has earth powers. It can be used to craft the kurogane katana and other items.
• Tatami: A type of mat that can be crafted from rice and planks. It can be used as a floor or a wall for a traditional Japanese house.
• Soy Milk and Tofu: Food items that can be made from soybeans. They provide different benefits when consumed.
• Whip it deals really good damage and its op but you need a debug stick and 2 leads to make it

Mobs

• Oni: A dangerous mob that has 260 HP and deals massive damage and knockback. They spawn in their own domain, a dark and gloomy dimension that can be accessed by building a portal with magma blocks.
• Koi: A peaceful fish that swims in the water. They spawn in the broken koi realm, a dimension that has koi ponds and sakura trees. You can build there for now, but more features will be added later. Koi are not out yet.
• Kitsunes they will be tamable in the future

Biomes

• Ginger Tundra: A biome that has ginger plants and snow. It is very cold and barren, but also spicy. Ginger can be harvested and used as a food ingredient or a potion modifier.
• Hydra Forest: A biome that has hydra plants and vines. It is very lush and blue and cold, but also dangerous. A hydra boss will spawn there soon.
• Zen garden:well its a zen garden

Compatibility

This mod is compatible with most other mods, but there might be some conflicts or issues with some specific ones. Please let me know if you encounter any problems.
