Ever found yourself clicking back and forth in JEI just to remember how many sticks or ingots you need for a recipe? JEI Crafting Insight is a pure Quality of Life (QoL) addon designed to streamline your survival experience. By hovering over any craftable item in the JEI panel, this mod brings the recipe requirements and your current inventory status directly to your mouse cursor!

🌟 Main Features

Smart Inventory Scanning: Instantly cross-references the item's recipe with your current inventory. It adds a color-coded tooltip showing exactly what you already own (Green) and what you are currently missing (Red).

Visual Recipe Grids: Renders a mini 3x3 crafting grid directly at the bottom of the tooltip, showing you the exact shape of the recipe without needing to click it.

Broad Workstation Support: Dynamically changes the title and the visual UI based on the required workstation. Fully supports Crafting Tables, Furnaces, Blast Furnaces, Smokers, Stonecutters, and Campfires.

JEI Bookmark Integration: Works flawlessly with JEI's native bookmark feature. Press 'A' to pin items to the left side of your screen and track your missing materials on the fly while exploring!

100% Client-Side: Install it on your client and play on any vanilla or modded multiplayer server. The server does not need to have this mod installed for it to work!

⚙️ How it Works

1. Open your inventory.

2. Hover your mouse over any item in the JEI item list on the right.

3. The mod will instantly display the "Crafting Insight" tooltip, the missing ingredients, and the visual recipe.

4. (Optional) Press 'A' to bookmark the item to the left side of your screen so you can track your crafting goals while you play!

🛠️ Configuration

Want to customize your tooltip? Simply type /craftinginsight  in the in-game chat to open the settings menu. From there, you can easily toggle the visual grid and the missing items text on or off!

📦 Dependencies

This mod is an addon and requires Just Enough Items (JEI) to function.

📈 Development & Updates

The mod is currently being developed for Minecraft 1.20.1. Future updates, new features, and potential ports to additional Minecraft versions will be considered based on project traction.
