Jobs Cobb
Jobs Cobb adds a configurable profession system for Cobblemon servers, with job progression, economy costs, rewards, objectives, deposits, player storage, and in-game menus.
Players can join jobs such as Miner, Farmer, Fisher, Breeder, Builder, Hunter, Apothecary, Artisan, or Ranger, then progress by playing naturally: mining, farming, fishing, catching Pokemon, breeding, crafting, placing blocks, depositing resources, and completing server objectives.
The mod was originally made for a French Cobblemon server, but it can be configured for any multiplayer setup.
Main Features
/jobsmenu with a full custom client interface- Vanilla chest menu fallback when the player does not have the client-side mod
- Player commands:
/jobsand/job - Admin command:
/jobsadmin - Job XP, levels, tiers, grades, objectives, and rewards
- Automatic tracking for many Minecraft and Cobblemon actions
- Deposit objectives for resources and items
- Cobblemon Economy support for join costs, leave costs, and rewards
- JSON player storage by default
- Optional SQLite storage
- Configurable jobs, objectives, rewards, costs, storage, and anti-abuse rules
- Built-in admin documentation generated with the config files
- Automatic client language support for English, French, Spanish, and German
Automatic Objectives
Jobs Cobb can automatically track actions such as:
- Mining blocks and ores
- Harvesting crops, berries, and Apricorns
- Replanting crops
- Using fertilizer
- Fishing
- Catching Pokemon, shiny Pokemon, aquatic Pokemon, rare Pokemon, and legendary Pokemon
- Winning Cobblemon battles
- Collecting and hatching eggs
- Detecting IV, hidden ability, and competitive Pokemon objectives
- Reviving fossils
- Healing Pokemon
- Placing blocks and decorative blocks
- Crafting supported items, medicine, Poke Balls, bottles, glass, and decor
- Reaching Pokedex completion milestones
The default config focuses on objectives that are automated or completed through deposits.
