AirSupport

Take control of the skies with Close Air Support system.

AirSupport introduces a JTAC-inspired air support system to Minecraft. Obtain the JTAC Tablet from the Creative Inventory to request aerial operations, designate targets, and deploy a variety of military aircraft and guided weapons. Once an operation is approved, the aircraft autonomously follow their assigned routes and carry out their strikes.

  • Interactive tablet interface with an aircraft and weapons catalog.

  • Mission Tracking and Battle Damage Assessment (BDA).

  • Currently available through the Creative Inventory. No crafting recipe is implemented.

Six Aerial Operations

  • A-10 Sweep: Two A-10 aircraft perform attack passes using their GAU-8 cannons.
  • F-22 Precision: Three F-22 fighters engage three designated targets with precision-guided bombs.
  • B-21 Area: A B-21 bomber conducts a wide-area conventional carpet bombing run.
  • F/A-18 JDAM: An F/A-18 delivers a heavy precision-guided JDAM strike.
  • SOM Cruise: An F/A-18 deploys a cruise missile with two guidance modes: MAP and FPV.
  • B-2 MGB: A B-2 Spirit delivers six massive guided bombs across a designated area.

SOM Cruise Missile

Take direct control of the cruise missile using FPV mode, or guide its attack through the tablet's MAP interface.

Mission Tracking & BDA

Track the results of your air operations with a dedicated Battle Damage Assessment interface.

  • Multiplayer-aware mission attribution.

Multiplayer Support

AirSupport supports multiplayer operation requests, synchronized aircraft and mission events, and individual player cooldowns. Active sorties can continue even if the player who requested them disconnects.

AirSupport's military concepts, operational ideas, and audio design draw inspiration from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (2022).

Important Notes
