⚠ Warning
JASM is in beta. It works, but it's young: things can change between versions. Back up your world before updating, and please report anything odd on GitHub.
Just Another Storage Mod stores your items as data on small chips called wafers. You carry them in a handheld Deck, so your storage goes where you go. And you back them up at an Archive, so a lost wafer can be rebuilt instead of gone for good.
Little robots called Bitlings do a lot of the work. Find one in the wild, befriend it with a chip, and it'll make more advanced ingredients for you, run your network's brain or knock down blocks with a laser.
Storage you can carry
Wafers hold items or fluids, from a few stacks up to a million. A Deck reads several at once, and you search everything from one screen, wherever you are.
Nothing lost for good
An Archive keeps a copy of your wafers. Drop one in lava, lose it in a cave, and the Archive rebuilds it onto a blank wafer.
Autocrafting
Write recipes onto cards and ask your Crafting Deck for anything: the parts get crafted first. Furnaces and other mods' machines join in through Access Ports, fluids included, and crafting rules keep your stock topped up.
Networks that grow with you
Cables carry power and link your machines. A small network runs on its own; a Network Brain, and a tower of brain floors, lets it grow much bigger.
Bitlings
Bitlings grow into Nibblings and Bytelings as they work, and the best wafers need what only a Byteling can make.
Play together
Everyone on a network gets their own Deck and their own stuff. The network's owner can trust friends, who then share its machines and recipes and can send items to each other.
Guide included
Every item has a page in the in-game guide: craft a JASM Guide from a Book and a Data Crystal, hold G over any JASM item, or press ? on a machine screen. The same guide can be read online.
