Description
JLF Custom Passives Bridge
JLF Custom Passives Bridge is a lightweight compatibility addon for JustLevelingFork that restores support for custom passives registered through KubeJS.
Starting with JustLevelingFork 1.2.8, custom passives can still be registered through KubeJS, but they may not be properly added to JustLevelingFork’s internal passive system. This can cause custom passives to appear incorrectly, fail to apply their bonuses, or simply not function.
JLF Custom Passives Bridge fixes this by automatically syncing registered custom passives with JustLevelingFork’s internal passive system.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
FEATURES
• Restores custom KubeJS passive support for JustLevelingFork 1.2.8
• Automatically detects custom passives registered through the JustLevelingFork passive registry
• No need to manually add each custom passive to the bridge
• Supports multiple custom passives at the same time
• Allows custom passives to properly interact with JustLevelingFork’s passive system
• Works with custom attributes from other mods
• Does not modify JustLevelingFork itself
• Lightweight and designed specifically for compatibility
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
KUBEJS SUPPORT
Custom passives can still be created normally using:
StartupEvents.registry('justlevelingfork:passives', event => {
// Your custom passives here
})
Once registered, JLF Custom Passives Bridge automatically makes those passives available to JustLevelingFork’s internal passive system.
You can continue adding additional custom KubeJS passives without needing a new version of the bridge each time.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
EXAMPLE USES
The addon was originally created to support custom passives such as:
• Mana Capacity
• Stamina Capacity
However, the bridge is not limited to these passives.
You can create additional passives that modify attributes such as:
• Maximum Mana
• Maximum Stamina
• Mana Regeneration
• Movement Speed
• Armor
• Attack Damage
• Spell-related attributes
• Attributes added by other compatible mods
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
REQUIREMENTS
Minecraft: 1.20.1
Mod Loader: Forge
Required:
• JustLevelingFork 1.2.8
Optional:
• KubeJS — required if you want to create your own custom passives
Other mods may also be required depending on which attributes your custom passives use.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
IMPORTANT
This version is specifically designed around JustLevelingFork 1.2.8.
If JustLevelingFork receives an update that significantly changes its passive system, JLF Custom Passives Bridge may also need to be updated.
You do NOT need to update the bridge simply because you add another custom KubeJS passive. New registered passives are detected automatically.
