# Kaiju Strike Designator
Call down a catastrophic kaiju beam strike anywhere in your world.
## How It Works
1. **Craft the Designator** - Requires nuclear cores, diamond blocks, netherite and a dragon head
2. **Place the Kaiju Strike Device** - Right click to aim and place it in the world
3. **Fuel It** - Insert a nuclear core (nether star + end crystals + redstone blocks)
4. **Start the Countdown** - Shift right click to cycle between 3 timer modes then activate
5. **Run.**
## What Happens
- Sky darkens as vortex clouds swirl overhead
- Blocks rip from the ground and spiral upward
- Massive beam fires from bedrock to sky with dynamic noise-based visuals
- 3-phase explosion carves a bowl-shaped crater with jagged edges
- Crater is lined with irradiated blocks that emit radiation and geiger counter sounds
## Features
- **Configurable blast radius** (10-500 blocks, default 150)
- **Configurable countdown** (5-300 seconds)
- **3 color palettes** for the beam
- **Irradiated terrain** - Custom radiation effect (not wither), green tint, proximity damage
- **Full atmosphere system** - Custom GLSL vortex clouds, block ripping physics, shockwave visuals
- **Geiger counter** ambient sounds near irradiated blocks
- **Immersive audio** - 11 sound events with 3D positional audio (~800 block range)
## Config Options (atomicbreathrailgun-common.toml)
- Blast radius, countdown duration
- Destroy bedrock toggle
- Require fuel toggle
- Dimension whitelist
- Block blacklist (barriers, command blocks by default)
- Radiation duration and amplifier
