Description
Kestrel ESP
An entity wallhack: see mobs and players through walls — set up per mob type and per player, not with one global switch.
Client-side only. Works on Forge, NeoForge and Fabric for Minecraft 1.20.1, 1.21.1, 1.21.11.
This is an entity ESP, not an ore x-ray: it shows creatures and players through blocks, and leaves the terrain alone.
What it does
Pick a target on the left — a mob type or a group of players — and switch on what you want for it. Every entity type keeps its own settings, so creepers can glow red while your friends glow green and everything else stays invisible.
Glowing outline
The same crisp silhouette the Glowing effect gives, in any colour you like — RGB sliders and a hex field. Adjustable thickness, with an option to thin it out at distance so a crowded screen stays readable.
Only the hidden part
This is the one no other ESP does. Instead of outlining the whole entity, it traces only the part a block is actually covering — pixel by pixel. Half a zombie behind a corner shows half an outline. The same mode exists for the see-through model: you see exactly what the wall hides, and nothing else.
See-through models
The entity drawn over the world with its own textures — armour, eyes, saddles all intact — at 5–100% brightness. Not a flat silhouette: you can tell an armoured player from an unarmoured one.
Hitbox boxes
A wireframe box in the entity's colour, with its own visibility rule.
Name tags
Player names readable through terrain, in the group's colour, with their own brightness.
Player groups
Match players by name in only these names or everyone except these mode. A whitelist beats a blacklist automatically, and a player in two whitelists gets both sets of features — no manual priority to think about.
Mob ESP, player ESP, or both
Every entity in the game gets its own entry, so the mod is whatever you set it up to be. Highlight only creepers in a cave. Highlight only players on a server. Highlight item frames while building. Search the list by name or by id — zomb and minecraft:zombie both find the zombie, in English or Russian.
Controls
- Right Shift — open the settings screen
- Unbound by default — toggle everything on and off
Settings live in config/kestrel.json and save when you close the screen.
Compatibility
- Sodium / Embeddium — works, including the per-pixel modes.
- Iris / Oculus with a shader pack — the see-through modes do not draw. Outlines, hitboxes and name tags keep working.
The see-through modes read the depth buffer directly, which a shader pack replaces wholesale.
Client-side: it changes nothing on the server and is not required by other players.
