Find the right book at a glance! Chiseled Bookshelf shows a book’s title or item name and its enchantments, including their levels, above the hotbar when you aim at an occupied slot in a chiseled bookshelf. Identify stored books without removing them or changing the shelf’s contents.

Use the Fabric edition in singleplayer or on your own server, or choose the datapack for Java Realms and vanilla worlds. A Fabric server with the mod installed also supports vanilla clients. On an unchanged vanilla server or Realm, the client mod alone cannot provide full book information. The display can be toggled without operator permissions.

For Minecraft Java 26.3. The complete package includes the Fabric and Realm/vanilla variants with installation instructions.
