About

Description

layer armors as they do in real life (dyeable) (de-craftable) (now with horse armor not dyable)

i.e. combine them in a crafting table

 Layered armors display

leather+plate or leather+chainmail+plate

ingredients on the left to get the right

durability, armor points, and toughness all added together

enchant-ability is the highest of any given armor used to craft the layered version

both craft and de-craft in the crafting table taking off armor layer by layer. (dye color resets when crafting and de-crafting)

before:

before leather chain diamond helmet de-crafted

after: (leather chain helmet left in crafting table after taking the diamond helmet)

after leather chain diamond helmet was de-crafted into a diamond helmet and a leather chain helmet

gives purpose to leather other than merely being a skipped stepping stone and makes chainmail no longer merely a collectible.

to properly see the armor points and toughness I advise using a couple of overlay mods that provide this utility and already exist on Curse Forge.

1.15.2 versions used MCreator but the

 1.18.2+ version does not.
