Description

Version 3.0

Version 3.0 is here! The mod was almost completely rewritten from scratch. Much of the code was refactored, and most of the extra systems were moved to standalone mods, with the goal of making it easier to port to future versions of Minecraft.

Leveling Rank

The Leveling Rank system introduces special items that represent each difficulty tier. These items act as challenges that the player must overcome to progress through the ranks.

Each difficulty level has its own dedicated challenge item, ensuring that progression feels structured and immersive. As players advance, they unlock new tiers, each with its own unique challenge to conquer.

This system makes advancement clear and rewarding, while keeping the experience balanced and tied directly to the player’s achievements.

Difficulty & Progress Interface

The difficulty and progression window is now accessed directly with the X key (configurable in the controls menu). This interface provides detailed information about each difficulty level and the player’s current progress.

Inside the window, players can view important data such as the health and attack values of enemies for each difficulty tier. It also displays the player’s progression within the current difficulty, making advancement clear and structured.

Once the progression bar is completed, the player unlocks the option to attempt the challenge required to move to the next difficulty. This ensures that progression feels earned, balanced, and immersive, while testing the player’s skills against stronger enemies.

Difficulty System

The mod introduces a total of 16 difficulty levels, with the first four serving as the core stages of progression. Each level increases the challenge by enhancing enemy health and attack power, restricting resources, and unlocking new dimensions.

Difficulty General Effects
Normal Enemies keep their vanilla stats.
No bonuses applied.
Mining progression is restricted by higher tiers.
Hard Enemies have about 250% more health.
Attack damage increased by ~70%.
Can spawn with 1–2 positive effects.
Unlocks mining of Iron.
Expert Enemies have about 500% more health.
Attack damage increased by ~150%.
Can spawn with 1–3 buffs.
Unlocks mining of Diamond.
Grants access to the Nether.
Nightmare Enemies have about 900% more health.
Attack damage increased by ~250%.
Can spawn with 2–5 powerful effects.
Unlocks mining of Netherite.
Grants access to the End.

Independent Module System

The mod has been separated into different modules to keep each feature clean and focused. Titles are now handled by Epic RPG: Legendary Titles, and the rarity system is managed by Epic RPG: Weapon Rarity.

Important: This mod is now a fully independent module. It does not require Legendary Titles, Weapon Rarity, or any other mod to function. Many players ask this, but the answer is simple: you can use it on its own without dependencies.

In-Game & External Configuration

The mod provides flexible configuration options both inside the game and through external files, making it easy for modpack creators to balance progression and gameplay.

In-Game Tools

Configuration Station – A special table where items can be placed to assign the required difficulty for their use. This allows modpack creators to block or unlock items depending on progression, directly in-game, without editing files manually.

Entity Config Editor Item – A utility item that opens a simple interface with Shift + Click. Creators can select the difficulty level of an entity and mark it as a boss if needed. Clicking on an entity with this item assigns it a minimum difficulty requirement when spawning in the world.

External Files

  • LevelingRankConfig.toml – General settings and global configuration options.
  • ChallengeEventConfig.toml – Controls the event system for difficulty progression challenges.

📂 All configuration files are located in: yourmodpack\config\everydayxp\levelingrank
