Description

🍂 Leaf Rake

Leaf Rake is a cozy Minecraft Fabric mod that turns fallen leaves into something you can actually interact with.

Leaves naturally appear beneath trees, can be gathered with rakes, moved into physical piles, stored in a Leaf Bag, shaped with a broom, and eventually combined into massive leaf Mounds that you can jump into.

The goal is to make fallen leaves feel like a natural part of the Minecraft world while keeping the experience simple, relaxing, and close to vanilla.

🍁 Natural Fallen Leaves

Leaf litter naturally appears beneath eligible trees and slowly returns over time after being collected.

Natural patches can have different densities, so forests feel scattered and organic instead of being covered by a uniform carpet.

Leaf Rake also adds subtle extra vanilla-style falling leaf ambience around supported trees.

🪵 Rakes

Use rakes to gather fallen leaves and pull them together.

Current rake tiers:

• Wooden Rake
• Stone Rake
• Iron Rake

Better rake materials provide a larger working range while keeping the same simple interaction.

🍂 Physical Leaf Piles

Collected leaves form real physical piles instead of disappearing into an abstract counter.

Piles grow through several sizes:

• Small
• Medium
• Large
• Very Large
• Huge
• Massive

Normal piles can hold up to 64 Leaf Units.

Large falls can also scatter leaves out of normal piles, creating a more physical and playful interaction with the environment.

⛰️ Leaf Mounds

Bring enough large piles together and they can form a much larger Leaf Mound.

Mounds have multiple growth stages and can hold a large amount of leaf mass.

Jump into them to cushion your fall, sink slightly into the leaves, and move through them with a soft slowdown.

Mounds are designed to feel like something you build naturally through gameplay rather than a block you simply place.

🧹 Broom

The Broom is used to push, shape, and feed existing leaf piles.

It complements the Rake instead of replacing it:

Rake → pull and gather
Broom → push and shape

🎒 Leaf Bag

The Leaf Bag lets you collect processed leaves and carry them with you.

It can absorb leaves from normal piles and Mounds, then deposit them back into the world later.

The Bag preserves the actual amount and palette of the leaves inside.

🌊 Water Interaction

Water can gradually move Leaf Rake leaves.

Flowing and still water behave at different rates, adding another small environmental interaction without turning leaves into permanent ticking entities.

🏆 Advancements

Leaf Rake includes its own advancement progression for discovering and experimenting with its mechanics.

Some challenges are hidden and reward unusual ways of interacting with piles and Mounds.

⚙️ Configuration

Leaf Rake includes an in-game configuration screen through Mod Menu.

Settings include:

• Natural leaf regeneration
• Initial natural leaf distribution
• Leaf Bag behavior
• Normal pile fall protection
• Landing scatter
• Water movement
• Gameplay particles
• Extra falling leaf ambience
• Leaf rustle sounds
• Advanced diagnostic options

The configuration screen is available in English and Turkish.

🔎 Optional Jade Support

If Jade is installed, Leaf Rake can display useful information such as:

• Leaf Pile mass
• Leaf Pile capacity
• Mound stage
• Total Mound leaf mass

Jade is optional and is not required to use Leaf Rake.

🧪 Public Beta

Leaf Rake is currently being prepared as a public beta.

The core gameplay systems are functional, but balance, natural leaf density, compatibility, and overall game feel may continue to change based on player feedback.

Feedback, bug reports, screenshots, videos, and compatibility reports are especially valuable during this stage.

Official community and feedback links will be provided through the project page and official Leaf Rake Discord.
