Description

Lectern Bulk Use

Right-click an empty lectern while holding a stack of anything that normally opens/uses itself when you right-click it, loot bags, reward crates, whatever and it'll use every single one you're carrying instead of you having to click them one at a time.

Not just the stack in your hand either. It checks your whole inventory (hotbar, main inv, offhand) and works through all of it in one go.

Shift + right-click an empty lectern to start it up.

Why a lectern?

Needed something that isn't normally used for anything on its own, and an empty lectern fit perfectly, it doesn't interfere with placing books on it, doesn't need any new blocks or items added, just repurposes something that's already sitting in every world.

How it actually works

This isn't a hardcoded "BountyBags support" mod or anything like that. It doesn't know or care what item you're holding, it just calls that item's own right-click logic over and over, the exact same way as if you clicked it yourself a hundred times. So whatever the item normally does (loot tables, sounds, particles, cooldowns, NBT, whatever) still happens exactly the same. This mod is just automating the clicking part.

Works with pretty much any mod's reward/bag items out of the box, no compatibility patches needed.

Safety stuff

Not every item makes sense to bulk-use, obviously, you don't want to accidentally chug 40 potions or launch every firework in your inventory. So there's a built-in filter that blocks things like:

- Spawn eggs, buckets, potions, ender pearls
- Bows, crossbows, tridents, shields, fishing rods
- Food, tools, armor, placeable blocks
- Anything that needs aiming, targeting, or holding the button down

If you try one of these, you'll get a chat message telling you exactly why it got blocked instead of just... nothing happening.

Experience Bottles are the one exception, they're a throwable item like ender pearls, but since there's no aiming involved they're totally safe and work fine through the lectern.

Other notes

- Everything runs server-side, so it's safe for multiplayer/dedicated servers, no desync, no dupe risk
- Processing is spread out over multiple ticks instead of happening instantly, so opening hundreds of items won't lag the server
- `/bulkuse cancel` if you want to stop a task early
- Configurable via the server config, items per tick, safety limits, exclusion list, etc.

Requirements

- Minecraft 1.20.1
- Forge 47.x

No other mods required.
