Level-up Enhanced

Make every level-up feel like an event. Level-up Enhanced is a lightweight, client-side cosmetic mod that adds a customizable burst of light along your XP bar whenever you level up, together with a smooth, animated experience bar.

Features

Level-up flash When your level goes up, a flash of light bursts from behind the level number and expands outward along the XP bar, then gently fades away.

Smooth XP bar fill Picking up experience no longer makes the bar jump. Instead it fills gradually from left to right, like a loading bar gently catching up to your real progress. The bar itself is redrawn to sit flush with your hotbar, slightly translucent with subtle segment divisions for a clean, vanilla-style look.

Two XP bar styles

• Enhanced — the mod's own sleek bar: thin, flush with the hotbar, slightly translucent, with subtle vanilla-style segment divisions.
• Vanilla / resource pack — keeps the original experience bar exactly as the game (or your resource pack) draws it. The smooth fill animation still applies.

Switch between styles any time in the settings — changes apply instantly, no need to rejoin the world.

Fully configurable Tune everything in-game through Mod Menu with simple sliders — no config files to edit by hand.

Lightweight & client-side Pure visual polish. It runs entirely on your client, has no effect on gameplay or world generation, and is safe to use on any server, including vanilla ones.

Configuration (via Mod Menu Mod)

• Toggle the level-up flash on or off
• Match the flash color to the XP bar, or pick your own color with R/G/B sliders
• Flash brightness
• Fade duration
• Length of the flash along the bar
• Glow spread (how far the light washes over the hotbar and other bars)
• XP bar style: Enhanced or Vanilla / resource pack
• Toggle the smooth XP fill (works with both styles) and adjust its fill speed
• One-click Reset to defaults

• (Optional) Mod Menu Mod — needed to open the in-game settings screen

Notes

• This mod replaces the vanilla experience bar's visuals with its own animated version (this also overrides resource-pack XP bar textures).
• Client-side only — you do not need to install it on the server.
