Level Up Notifier is a lightweight, 100% client-side quality-of-life mod for Cobblemon.
It tells you the moment a Pokémon learns a move, and marks it with a glowing NEW tag right inside Cobblemon's own moves screen, so you always know what to look at.

🔔 Never miss a new move

Level up, TM, tutor... whatever the way, a clear message appears in your chat the instant one of your Pokémon learns a move: which Pokémon, which move, and at what level.

🌟 A magical "NEW" mark, made to feel native

New moves shine in the Pokémon summary screen, in both places you need them:

  • ⚔️ The 4 active move slots
  • 🔄 The move swap list, so you instantly spot the new move among all the others

The glow takes the colour of the move's type (water blue, fire orange, psychic pink...), with a soft pulsing aura, a travelling spark and a subtle holographic sheen. It never covers the move's name, icon or numbers, and it looks like it was always part of Cobblemon.

🧹 It cleans up after itself

Once you've seen the new move and close the menu, the mark disappears. No duplicates, no clutter, no button to press.

📜 /lastmove

Forgot what your team learned last? Type /lastmove to see the last move each Pokémon in your party learned, and at which level.

📦 Installation

  1. Install Minecraft 1.21.1 with Fabric.
  2. Install Fabric API, Fabric Language Kotlin and Cobblemon 1.7.3.
  3. Drop Level Up Notifier into your mods folder.

🎮 Works on servers, with nothing installed on them

Client-side only. Install it on your own game and it works on any Cobblemon server, with no server-side installation and no permissions needed.

❓ FAQ

Do I need to install it on the server? No. Client only.
Does it change my Pokémon or the game rules? No. It only reads information and shows visual marks.
Other versions? Built for Minecraft 1.21.1 and Cobblemon 1.7.3.
