No reviews yet
A little mod that give you small geodes to crack open.
Does not follow a specific thematic focus apart from vanilla Minecraft.
Includes a large focus on traversing worlds with enhanced world generation, structures, dungeons, and more for players to find unique loot.
Adds new ores or other raw resources.

Description
Little geode is a mod centered around one item : a geode.
If you're updating from an older version of the mod (up to 1.6.2), plz delete the config file so it can regenerate itsef.
When you break blocks of stone, deepslate, netherrack, endstone (and starting from 1.6.0: andesite, granite, diorite, tuff, sand, red sand, clay, basalt, blackstone, most of the dirt variant, nyliums), they have a small chance to drop one of the geode this mod has to offer.
There are 6 kinds of geodes : - Mineral geode (give you mineral based item)
- Oceanic geode (give you what you usually found underwater)
- Organic geode (give you organic matter, like seeds, sapling, rotten flesh, bone, ect)
- Fire geode (contain nether related block or item)
- Void geode (contain end related block or item)
- Egg geode (contain egg from mobs that are not monster, except for slime)
Geodes rarity depends on the block you break :
- better chance for the mineral geodes to be found in stone based block.
- better chance for the organic geodes to be found in most of the dirts variant (dirt, coarse dirt, rooted dirt, grass, podzol, mycelium, mud and muddy mangrove roots).
- better chance for the oceanic geodes to be found in sand, red sand and clay.
- better chance for the fire geodes to be found in netherrack, blackstone, basalt, crimson and warp nylium.
- better chance for the void geodes to be found in endstone.
- egg geodes aren't affected and are just rare across the board.
Each geode drop a block, in addition to their main loot table.
The list of drop can be see in the picture tab.
The chance of getting a random geode to drop is 1% for stone based blocks, 0.5% for nether and end blocks, and 0.1% for sands, clay and dirts. Affected by fortune.
What you can change in the config files : - changing droprate for blocks
- changing droprate for each geodes from said block (putting 0 will disable said droprate.
- if you want to make geode despawn faster when far from them (because of how many can get spawned from mod like Create or rftools builder).
To use a geode, simply right click with the geode in hand.
