Livex's Timer

A lightweight, vanilla-friendly datapack that adds a clean real-time timer displayed above your hotbar (action bar). Fully controlled through simple commands — no items, no mods, no clutter.

  • ⏱ Real second-accurate timer — counts real time via a precise tick counter
  • ▶️ Start / Stop / Pause / Resume — full control at any moment
  • 🎨 11 colors — White, Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Aqua, Purple, Gold, Gray, Black
  • 🌈 Smooth Rainbow mode — a fluid 72-step HSV color gradient, not a jumpy 7-color cycle
  • 🪶 Lightweight & vanilla — pure commands, no resource pack required, safe for any server

📋 Commands

Command Effect
/function timer:start Starts the timer at 00:00
/function timer:stop Stops and resets the timer to 0
/function timer:pause Pauses the timer in place
/function timer:resume Resumes from where it paused
/function color:red Sets the timer color to red
/function color:blue Sets the timer color to blue
/function color:green Sets the timer color to green
/function color:yellow Sets the timer color to yellow
/function color:aqua Sets the timer color to aqua
/function color:purple Sets the timer color to purple
/function color:gold Sets the timer color to gold
/function color:gray Sets the timer color to gray
/function color:black Sets the timer color to black
/function color:white Sets the timer color to white (default)
/function color:rainbow Enables the smooth rainbow color cycle

🔧 Installation

  1. Download the datapack.
  2. Place it in your world's datapacks folder.
  3. Run /reload in-game.
  4. Start the timer with /function timer:start.
