Longshot

Unleash the power of velocity! This dynamic addition introduces a new potion effect that increases the velocity of fired projectiles. With increased velocity, comes increased damage. The ranged counterpart to Strength, it's a must-have for combat and exploration!

✅ Features

  • Increases velocity & damage on any fired projectiles, i.e. Arrows, Tridents, Firework Rockets and more.
  • Utility uses exist as well, with Ender Pearls, Fishing Bobbers, and thrown items also reaching further distances than ever before.
  • Brewed with a Nautilus Shell and an Awkward Potion, but configured to be anything you want!

📖 Configuration

Configuration is done through config/longshot.json:

  • color : "FF664F" Color of the potion effect in a 6-digit hexadecimal color or as a color name.
  • duration : 3600 Duration of the normal potion effect in ticks.
  • long_duration : 9600 Duration of the long potion effect in ticks.
  • strong_duration : 1800 Duration of the strong potion effect in ticks.
  • ingredient : minecraft:nautilus_shell Item that is used as the potion ingredient in the format of a resource location.
  • increase : 0.5 Velocity increase per amplifier
