Description
The Loot Tickets mod is like Silk Touch, but for unopened loot chests!
If you or your friends are the kind of people who like to run around grabbing lots of loot chests and hate leaving things behind, modded Minecraft will quickly overwhelm most early and midgame inventory systems. Too many types of loot, and too many unstackable items! This mod lets you postpone dealing with the piles of loot until later, and only redeem the loot tables that you want something from at that moment
Features
The Ticket Wand and Loot Tickets
Right-clicking a treasure chest with the wand will empty out the chest and hand you a stackable ticket for that loot table, to later redeem in…
The Loot Redemption Center
Put a ticket (or Ticket Bag) into the marked slot, and it will instantly fill the block’s storage with a full roll of that ticket’s loot table.
Fully hopper-compatible! Feed in new tickets in the top or side, and output the loot to the bottom!
The Redemption Center Employee
This poor arcade staff member has to sort through all your hard-earned tickets for you to trade them in. Right now he can only trade tickets for other tickets and sell some basic ones for emeralds (both configurable), but in the future he may have special arcade prizes for you to buy. His job block is the Loot Redemption Center.
The Ticket Bag
It would hardly help keep your inventory clean if you had a bunch of different tickets filling it up! If you have a Ticket Bag in your inventory or Baubles, it will automatically absorb any tickets you pick up, up to 54 ticket varieties each.
Lootr Compatibility
Full compatibility with Lootr, just make sure you’re using an up-to-date version! This mod is tested with lootr-neoforge-1.21.1-1.11.36.110, earlier versions may not work. Lootr changed how some things worked internally recently, so older modpacks that never updated may have compatibility issues. In testing both Direwolf20 and ATM10, upgrading Lootr and Forge hasn’t caused any issues.
JEI Compatibility
Use JEI to preview the contents of a loot ticket, or better yet, see which loot tables contain the item you’re looking for! Just go to recipe view for that item and look at the Redemption Center tab.
Configurability
Most of this mod is configurable! Villager trades are all manually listed in the config file, to make things easier for modpack makers. Especially handy for skyblocks where there isn’t a normal way to get these loot tables! Blacklisting is available for loot tables, mostly in case of buggy behavior.
Current limitations
Loot chests that generate treasure maps will often lag out the server on redemption and generate an invalid map. In vanilla this means the shipwreck map - please report any modded loot tables that lag or crash and they will go onto the default blacklist. Blacklisted loot chests will give the player an error message when they tap them with the wand, and associated tickets will not work in the Redemption Center
Tested with NeoForge version 21.1.217, earlier versions may not work
