## Never wonder "where did my diamonds go?" again
Lost & Found keeps a flight recorder for your stuff. Every valuable stack you drop, mine or lose is tracked, so you know what happened to it and can get it back before it despawns.
### What you get
- **A ledger on `J`**: icons, coordinates, time left and what happened (lava, fire, void, despawn, explosion, cactus).
- **A pointer panel** with a rotating arrow, distance and a despawn bar that turns from cyan to orange to a blinking red.
- **World markers**: a thin particle column on the item you selected, visible from far away.
- **Toasts and sounds** when you drop, recover or lose something, and a warning before a stack despawns.
- **Persistent**: your ledger survives restarts, per world.
- **Settings screen** (Mod Menu or the ledger's Settings button), with tooltips.
### Singleplayer only
Lost & Found works in singleplayer worlds (and for the host of a LAN world). It does nothing on multiplayer servers and does not load on dedicated servers. In singleplayer the game's built-in server tells the mod the exact cause of a loss (shown with a check mark); anything else is inferred and shown as "likely".
### Requirements
Minecraft 26.3 - Fabric Loader 0.19.5+ - Fabric API - Java 25. Mod Menu is optional.
### Good to know
- Item age is never sent to clients, so despawn timers count from when you first saw the stack: exact for your own drops, approximate otherwise.
- By default only valuable items are tracked (diamond, netherite, enchanted, named items and so on). Turn that off to track every drop.
- Everything is configurable. License: MIT.
