Loupe - Smooth Zoom

Loupe is a simple hold-to-zoom for Minecraft. Hold a key and the view eases in, scroll to zoom in or out, and let go to ease back out. Looking around while zoomed feels smooth too, because the camera builds up speed gradually and glides to a stop instead of snapping to your mouse.

Features

• Smooth zoom - eases in and out, and takes the same time at any frame rate.
• Smooth look - the camera glides while you look around zoomed in, more the further you zoom. Turn it down or off in the settings.
• Scroll to zoom - while you hold the key, the mouse wheel zooms closer or wider instead of changing your hotbar slot. Goes from about 1.1x up to 30x.
• Starts fresh every time - each zoom begins at your chosen amount, however far you scrolled last time.
• Your FOV setting is left alone - only the camera changes while you zoom.
• Any key or mouse button - it is a normal entry in Options > Controls, so you can rebind it (default C).
• Client-side only - nothing to install on a server.

Settings

Install Mod Menu for a settings screen (Mods -> Loupe -> Configure), or edit config/loupe.json.
