01 // WHAT IS THIS?

This mod is all about making Minecraft's combat visuals more interesting, impactful, and customizable. It takes inspiration from Red Effects, Mas Effects, and Masuno's PvP Pack, while bringing its own rewritten implementation and additional features.

From flashy impacts and visual effects to personal resource packs and the ability to add your own completely ridiculous custom sound effects, the goal is simple: give you more control over how your game looks and sounds while making it as performant as possible (the performance impact is not zero but very, very negligible [if you die, it's definitely a skill issue]).

03 // MAKE IT YOURS: CUSTOM SOUNDS

Want every impact to sound different? Want a collection of memes instead of the default sound? Go for it.

The mod generates a folder with a README.txt that explains how to use the custom sound feature. You don't need to guess where your files go.

 // QUICK SETUP

  1.  Launch the game with the mod installed so its custom sound folder ("mace_sound") can be generated. 
  2.  Open the generated folder and read README.txt.
  3.  Place your custom .ogg sound files in that folder.
  4.  Use as many different sounds as you like.


THE FUN PART

When multiple .ogg files are present, the mod randomly chooses one of the available sound files on impact. That means you can build a collection of different sounds instead of hearing the exact same thing every time.

Make it satisfying. Make it ridiculous. Make it a collection of memes that your friends will never see coming.

The customization doesn't stop at sounds. Compatible custom resource packs by this mod let you personalize the visual side of your setup, too.

Enable them in Minecraft's Resource Packs menu.
