MasuHolograms | Server-Side Holograms

MasuHolograms is a server-side hologram mod for Minecraft Forge 1.18.2. Create floating text, items/icons, player heads, entities, and player NPC hologram lines with no client mod required.

Most hologram line types are rendered via fake entities sent through network packets, while NPC lines can be powered by the optional Taterzens mod for real server-side NPCs with automatic skin fetching.

Optional Dependencies (recommended for specific features)

• Taterzens 1.9.6: enables #PLAYER: NPC hologram lines with automatic skin fetching
• Vault Hunters 3 (the_vault): enables Vault Hunters stat placeholders and leaderboards
• LuckPerms: enables granular permission control across features

Notes for Server Owners

• If you use NPC hologram lines, install Taterzens server-side as well.
• Permissions and placeholders are evaluated per player, making it ideal for hubs, leaderboards, and personalized UI-style holograms.
