Description
MCA × Cobblemon

This mod is in active development. Always keep a backup copy of your world before installing or updating. Features may change between versions and save data may not be forward-compatible.
What does this mod do?
MCA × Cobblemon is a compatibility addon that bridges Minecraft Comes Alive Reborn and Cobblemon, allowing MCA villager NPCs to participate in the Cobblemon world as trainers. This mod does not add new mobs, items, or biomes: it connects two existing mods together.
Feel free to put this in your modpack!
Features
Villager Trainers - MCA villagers spawn with a Cobblemon party and can be challenged to a trainer battle by the player. Villagers will actively level up and evolve their Pokémon over time.
Catching - When a player gifts a villager a Poké Ball, the villager will attempt to catch a nearby wild Cobblemon on their own. Gifting a Rare Candy causes a villager to immediately level up one of their party Pokémon.
Companion Cobblemon- Villagers will occasionally send out their Cobblemon, which will follow them around the world as companions.
Cobblemon Dialogue - Villagers have new dialogue lines that reference their Cobblemon party, personality, and relationship with the player.
Requirements
This mod requires dependencies to be installed.
- Minecraft Comes Alive Reborn by Luke100000: all MCA villager behavior, personality, dialogue, and relationship systems are the work of Luke100000 and contributors. This mod does not modify MCA's core code.
- Cobblemon by the Cobblemon Team: all Cobblemon, battle mechanics, catching systems, and Cobblemon data are the work of the Cobblemon team. This mod does not modify Cobblemon's core code.
- Kotlin for Forge by thedarkcolour: required as a runtime dependency by Cobblemon on NeoForge only.
Minecraft Comes Alive Reborn and Cobblemon are independent projects. Their content, assets, and mechanics belong entirely to their respective authors. This addon only adds integration logic between them.
